Nestlé continues to invest in programs and initiatives in favour of environmental sustainability, also through the development of projects that aim to reduce environmental impact of product packaging. In the case of the 10-piece box of Baci Perugina, Nestlé intervened on the weight of the cardboard. Now the box containing the candy weighs about 10% less than the previous version with the same dimensions and contents (143 grams). Since 2009 Nestlé Italiana SpA has employed an Environmental Management System in compliance with UNI EN ISO 14001 standards.
