CONAI’s activity in the territory is also developed through partnerships with Regions and Provinces, designed to monitor the quality of collection systems, data transfer and flows of collected data.

The objective is to improve the quality of separated waste collection, keeping people’s attention high and monitoring the advancement of waste all the way to recycling, guaranteeing that the collected materials are eventually recycled.

The actions undertaken, with the support of Consortium Chain Partners, range from the analysis of the status quo in terms of waste management (production, separated waste levels reached, equipped plants), to the definition of waste management policies appropriate to the area and subsequent organisation, also in terms of plant engineering developments, identification of guidelines for separated waste collection, promotion of training for professionals, information and public awareness.
